As we all continue to navigate our way through these unprecedented times, I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for your patience and support. Sadly, we are left feeling empty that this unexpected force of nature prevented us from spending a wonderful weekend of dance with you this spring. We have sincerely missed being on the road, and watching every dancer hit the FEVER stage with passion and grace. However, as restrictions are lifted, and a new normal begins to take center stage… we will dance again. What that looks like, competitively or otherwise, we don’t know yet, but we will all rebuild, and I look forward to having FEVER be a part of our dance community’s restoration.
As we move into the summer and fall months, my partner and I will be busy working with venues and adjusting our events to fall in line within the new protocols and operation guidelines set forth by The Public Health Agency of Canada to ensure a safe event for all attending and working at FEVER.
Information regarding 2020 entry fees/ events, as well as upcoming events has been sent to all FEVER 2020 studio directors. While we value every single dance family from the studios that attend FEVER, at this time we will be communicating with studio directors only. We have been diligently working with them to answer any and all questions with full transparency regarding the next steps moving forward.
I look forward to when we can once again provide our dancers a space to showcase their talent under the spotlight they deserve. For now, during this crazy time, let’s continue to do what we do best when we dance…. hold, uplift and support each other.
May you and yours stay safe, and keep dancing!
